Football Recap: Sandy Pioneers vs. Central Catholic Rams        
        
		
             If Sandy was feeling good  fresh off their  61-21 takedown of Gresham last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sandy Pioneers took a  blow against the Central Catholic Rams on Friday, falling  42-7. It was the first time  this season that the Pioneers let down their fans at home.
  Micaiah Turin threw for 154 yards and a touchdown.  
 Gracyn Fitch was his top target, picking up 61 receiving yards and a touchdown.  On the ground, 
 Mataio Olomua rushed for 66 yards.
 Sandy's loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 3-4. As for Central Catholic, the  win for them keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
 Sandy will face off against Reynolds at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Sandy is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a five-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. As for Central Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against David Douglas  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Central Catholic's defense has only allowed 13  points per game  this season, so David Douglas' offense will have their work cut out for them.
