Basketball Recap: Timber Creek Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

Timber Creek's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They secured a 45-41 W over the Celebration Storm. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolves also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2015.

Despite the defeat, Celebration saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Edson Oliveira Da Silva almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 boards. Another player making a difference was Braden Plaisted, who posted 12 points.

Timber Creek pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Celebration, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-5.
