Volleyball Recap: St. Agnes Academy Takes a Loss

St. Agnes Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Ryle on Saturday. The Stars fell 2-0 to the Raiders. The Stars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ryle to victory, but perhaps none more so than Clare Holtzapfel, who had three digs and three aces. That's the most digs Holtzapfel has posted over her last three games.

St. Agnes Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Ryle, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.

Coming up, St. Agnes Academy will welcome Briarcrest Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Saints will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something the Stars surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ryle, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Clarksville on the 20th.
