York Catholic strolled into their game on Thursday with an undefeated record and they left with the same. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Fighting Irish who were credited with the victory. The York Catholic Fighting Irish got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the New Oxford Colonials's one. This was payback for York Catholic, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Derek Noel, who's now up to eight this season.

York Catholic's win bumped their record up to 18-0-1. As for New Oxford, they moved to 13-4-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.
