Wakefield School extends road winning streak to five

Recap: Wakefield School Fighting Owls vs. Trinity at Meadow View Tempest
The Wakefield School Fighting Owls put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Trinity at Meadow View by a score of 29-17. For Wakefield School, this counts as revenge for the 53-20 loss Trinity at Meadow View walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2017.
Wakefield School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aya Mason, who scored 3 points along with 14 rebounds and 4 blocks. Mason is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ceci Turner, who scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
Wakefield School's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Trinity at Meadow View, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wakefield School will face off against Tandem Friends at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Trinity at Meadow View will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Christ Chapel Academy at 5:30 p.m. on December 19th.
