It was a good run, but Manawa unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 10-7 to the Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds. The Wolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Thunderbirds earlier this season, when they won 7-3.

Manawa's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 8-2. As for Iola-Scandinavia, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Manawa will square off against rival Shiocton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Iola-Scandinavia is set to take on their familiar foe Bonduel at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
