Basketball Recap: Eminence Skates Past Central Christian Academy with Ease

There's no place like home for Eminence, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past the Central Christian Academy Chargers , posting a 60-31 win. For the Eels, this counts as revenge for the 35-31 victory the Chargers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Central Christian Academy's loss on Friday came despite strong showings from Corian Walker and Josiah Riggins. Walker posted seven points and 14 rebounds, while Riggins had 12 points and five rebounds. That was a full 38.7% of Central Christian Academy's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Eminence's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 3-11. As for Central Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Eminence will square off against Crothersville at 5:30 p.m. on January 11th. As for Central Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Indiana School for the Deaf at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
