Baseball Recap: Ferris Takes a Loss

Ferris fell victim to Alvarado and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Indians, falling 7-0. The Yellowjackets haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Ferris' defeat dropped their record down to 7-10-3. As for Alvarado, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9.

Looking ahead, Ferris will look to defend their home field on Friday against Life Waxahachie at 7:00 p.m. The last four games the Mustangs have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Alvarado, they will head out to challenge Venus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.38 runs per game on average), something the Indians will no doubt try to take advantage of.
