Harper Phillips Game Report: @ Geneva

On Wednesday Harper Phillips tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. The performance marked the fewest earned runs Phillips has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her sixth in a row with less than one hit. This year, she has an ERA of 3.28 over 10.7 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Phillips and Incarnate Word Academy will square off against New Braunfels Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Phillips' big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Angels' four-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Phillips and the Angels surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Thursday's match.
