Football Recap: Milwaukee Lutheran Comes Up Short

Milwaukee Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Greendale Panthers and fell 42-14. While losing is never fun, the Red Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 309th, while the Panthers are ranked 135th).

Although Milwaukee Lutheran took the loss, they still got scores from Quinton Smith and Harlem Davis.

Milwaukee Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Greendale, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coincidentally, Milwaukee Lutheran and Greendale will both be playing Greenfield the next time they take the field. The Red Knights will host the Hustlin' Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
