Basketball Recap: Clinton Snags Fifth Win in Last Six Games

Clinton had won two straight home games and Tushawan Richardson did his part to make it three on Tuesday. The Clinton Red Devils managed a 54-49 victory over the Saluda Tigers thanks to Richardson, who posted 24 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Clinton's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Khari Vance, who had eight points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Clinton is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. Saluda is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-8.

Looking ahead, Clinton will head out to challenge High Point Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in High Point Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 23 matches. Saluda does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
