Volleyball Recap: Coventry Extends Winning Streak to Four

Coventry had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ellington Knights. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-13, 25-13.

Coventry's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rowynn Myshrall, who had 13 digs and one assist. Brooke White was another key player, getting 14 digs.

Coventry was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in seven consecutive matchups.

Coventry's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Ellington, their defeat ended a seven-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coventry will welcome Windsor Locks at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ellington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rockville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
