Volleyball Recap: Hailey Williamson Key Part of Team Effort in Golden Tornadoes Win

New York School for the Deaf won the last time they faced Rhode Island School for the Deaf and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Golden Tornadoes walked away with a 2-0 victory over Rhode Island School for the Deaf. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Tornadoes.

New York School for the Deaf never let Rhode Island School for the Deaf on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22.

New York School for the Deaf got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Hailey Williamson out in front who had 11 aces. Williamson is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Noemi Richiez, who had seven digs and four aces.

New York School for the Deaf's victory bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Rhode Island School for the Deaf, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.

As of now, neither New York School for the Deaf nor Rhode Island School for the Deaf have any future games scheduled.
