Volleyball Recap: Reedy Wins Going Away Against Mineral Wells

Reedy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mineral Wells Rams.

Reedy never let Mineral Wells on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-23, 25-16.

Mariah Akinsola paced Reedy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Akinsola got some help from Paige Hawkinson and her 16 assists.

Reedy's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Mineral Wells, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Reedy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Bishop Lynch on the 16th. As for Mineral Wells, they will take on Millsap at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
