Softball Recap: Woodlawn Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Woodlawn can now relate to. They came up short against the Mountain Brook Spartans on Friday, falling 15-0. The loss continues a trend for the Colonels in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost nine in a row.

Woodlawn's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Mountain Brook, they moved to 13-28 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Spartans beat Woodlawn by a score of 15-0 on Saturday.
