Football Game Recap: Edcouch-Elsa vs. Veterans Memorial

Veterans Memorial was the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They were fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past Edcouch-Elsa 38-0. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (35) and coasted on those for the win. This was the first game for both teams, giving Veterans Memorial a 1-0 record and starting Edcouch-Elsa off at 0-1.

Veterans Memorial are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Churchill next week at 7:30 PM. As for Edcouch-Elsa, they will face off against Weslaco.
