Basketball Recap: Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots vs. Liberty Christian Academy Heat
The Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top against Liberty Christian Academy by a score of 59-52 on Friday.
Giorgio Parravicini continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Asher Lowry, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Despite the loss, Liberty Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Mark Bachmann, who scored 15 points along with five assists. Bachmann hasn't dropped below 15 points for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Caleb Morton, who scored 11 points.
Arendell Parrott Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-16. As for Liberty Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 7-12 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Arendell Parrott Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Liberty Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against the Patriots at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
