Volleyball Recap: Bishop Ward Takes a Loss

Bishop Ward was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy Ravens. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ravens this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Meghan Hundley was the offensive standout of the match as she had seven digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Bishop Ward's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18-8. As for Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-13.

Bishop Ward didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Maranatha Christian Academy on the 13th. As for Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Riverton on the 11th.
