Stryker is 8-2 against Edon since October of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers are headed away from home for the first time to take on the Bombers at 5:30 p.m.

On Monday, Stryker came up short against Swanton and fell 3-1. The Panthers have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

While Stryker ultimately came up short, they really made Swanton work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 21-25, 25-15, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Edon had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Hamilton. The Bombers haven't had any issues with the Marines recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

One reason for the win was Edon's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-10, 25-9.

Stryker beat Edon 3-1 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
