Basketball Recap: Aransas Pass Takes a Loss

If Aransas Pass was riding high fresh off their 43-14 takedown of Odem last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Aransas Pass Panthers fell 40-33 to the London Pirates on Friday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-31 back in December of 2024.

Aransas Pass has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-18 record this season. As for London, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 16-10 record this season.

When Aransas Pass and London next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Aransas Pass will challenge West Oso and their nine-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, London will try to stop George West's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
