Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Paris). They never let the Newport Wildcats get on the board and left with a 19-0 victory on Saturday. Considering the Greyhounds have won five games by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Paris let Shayne Bowling and Xavier Brown run wild. Bowling went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one double, while Brown scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Cameron Mays, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Paris was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matchups.

With the win, Paris broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-4. As for Newport, their loss was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-10.
