Rita Tavita gave up the fewest hits she has since back in March on Tuesday. She was dialed in as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She was dominant the last time she took on Kearns back in April of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Tavita has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
