Soccer Recap: North Davidson Comes Up Short

North Davidson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Oak Grove Grizzlies. Both teams had to tread carefully at times as the refs weren't afraid to hand out yellow cards: Jayson Guevara was handed one for North Davidson, while Oak Grove got theirs courtesy of Dylan Sky.

North Davidson's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Oak Grove, their victory ended a seven-match drought on the road and puts them at 4-12-2.

North Davidson didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-0 defeat against Mount Tabor on the 13th. As for Oak Grove, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-1 loss against North Forsyth on the 13th.
