Baseball Recap: Morgan Park Comes Up Short

The Morgan Park Mustangs came up short against the Andrean Fighting 59ers on Friday, falling 14-3.

Gabriel Toussaint was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one double. Jacque Lewis also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Morgan Park's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Andrean, they pushed their record up to 15-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Morgan Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Andrean, they will head out on the road to face off against Zionsville at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
