Softball Recap: Tualatin Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Tualatin finally came back down to earth on Friday. They fell just short of the West Linn Lions by a score of 4-2. That makes it the first time this season the Timberwolves have let down their home crowd.

Reese Strode spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up ten Ks.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 9-4. As for West Linn, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Tualatin is set to challenge their familiar foe Tigard at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, West Linn will square off against rival Lakeridge at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
