Baseball Recap: Adamson Takes a Loss

Adamson lost against Hillcrest last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Adamson fell just short of Hillcrest by a score of 8-7. The Leopards have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Juvencio Nava was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring three runs while going 1-for-3. He has become a key player for Adamson: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 4-9-1 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Conejo, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI.

Adamson's loss dropped their record down to 6-10-1. As for Hillcrest, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-5-1.

Looking ahead, Adamson will take on South Oak Cliff at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Oak Cliff's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Adamson's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Hillcrest, they will square off against Sunset at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
