Basketball Recap: Hodgson Vo-Tech Comes Up Short

Hodgson Vo-Tech lost against Howard back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hodgson Vo-Tech Eagles were dealt an 80-40 defeat at the hands of the Howard Wildcats. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-21.

Howard's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bryson Lane, who went 6 of 11 en route to 14 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The dominant performance gave Lane a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Brown, who posted 16 points and five steals.

Hodgson Vo-Tech now has a losing record at 1-2.

Hodgson Vo-Tech didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 45-43 loss against Delcastle Technical on the 14th. As for Howard, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 79-33 defeat against DeMatha on the 13th.
