Baseball Recap: Niwot Takes a Loss

After flying high against Forest Grove on Thursday, Niwot came back down to earth. Niwot lost 13-4 to the Arizona College Prep Knights on Thursday. The contest marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Niwot saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jagger Kilpatrick, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Niwot's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Arizona College Prep, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

Niwot has already played their next game, a 13-0 defeat against Higley on the 21st. As for Arizona College Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 8-7 loss against Erie on the 21st.
