Villa Grove came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, but Nate Hale wouldn't allow it. The Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Knights had just enough and edged out the Villa Grove Blue Devils 52-50 thanks in part to Hale, who went 8-for-16 to rack up 21 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-20 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points over those games.
