Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Bellarmine Prep). They blew past the Mount Tahoma T-Birds 24-9 on Monday. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Lions as it spelled an end to their 13-game losing streak.
Bellarmine Prep's  win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 2-14. As for Mount Tahoma, they dropped their record down to 2-11 with the  loss, which was their sixth straight  at home.
 Coming up, Bellarmine Prep will challenge Lincoln at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Abes have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.56  runs per game on average), something the Lions will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Mount Tahoma, they will square off against Gig Harbor at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Tides will roll in looking for their  seventh straight  victory, something the T-Birds surely won't give up without a fight.
