Claire Zeppelin was dynamite on Wednesday, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her fourth in a row with less than two walks. For the season, she has an ERA of 8.13 over 10.3 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Zeppelin and Laurel will take on Shenango at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans are 9-1 against the Wildcats going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
