Basketball Recap: Owings Mills Takes a Loss

Owings Mills was the 73-47 winner over Lansdowne when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Owings Mills Golden Eagles took a 54-35 bruising from the Lansdowne Vikings on Friday.

Owings Mills has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. The win (which was Lansdowne's third in a row) raised their record to 8-11.

Coming up, Owings Mills will face off against Patapsco at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Owings Mills is facing Patapsco at the right time seeing as Patapsco is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Lansdowne, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Oakland Mills at 5:30 p.m.
