Chiawana strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Richland Bombers by a score of 21-14. That's more bragging rights for the Riverhawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Although Richland took the loss, they still got scores from Justin Volmer and Hayden Galloway.

Chiawana's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Richland, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Chiawana will face off against rival Walla Walla at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Richland is set to take on their familiar foe Kamiakin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Bombers 10.1, the Braves 12.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
