Basketball Game Preview: Trigg County Wildcats vs. McLean County Cougars

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Trigg County Wildcats challenge the McLean County Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday... The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Trigg County and three for McLean County.

Last Tuesday, Trigg County came up short against Union County and fell 64-53. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly 11 points.

Meanwhile, McLean County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 63-57 to Hopkins County Central.

Trigg County's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for McLean County, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.

Things could have been worse for Trigg County, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 71-57 loss to McLean County in their previous meeting back in February of 2023.
