Yuma Catholic has won eight straight games at home, while Page has won eight straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The Yuma Catholic Shamrocks will welcome the Page Sand Devils at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Thursday, Yuma Catholic took their game with ease, bagging a 99-29 win over Chino Valley. Given the Shamrocks' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Cougars are ranked 314th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sir Stokes was his usual excellent self, going 9 for 11 en route to 22 points and six steals. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ellijah Braveheart, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards.
Yuma Catholic smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in seven consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Page over Tuba City in every quarter on their way to victory on Monday. Page put the hurt on Tuba City with a sharp 74-49 victory. The Sand Devils haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Yuma Catholic better focus on containing Joseph Benally and Tyree Stingley as the pair were huge in Page's win. Benally went 15 of 31 to rack up 34 points and seven steals, while Stingley dropped a double-double on 15 points and 17 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Benally has scored at least a third of Page's points. Jackson Smith was another key player, putting up eight points and six boards.
Yuma Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 22-2. As for Page, their win bumped their record up to 19-5.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Yuma Catholic has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 32 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Page struggles in that department as they've been averaging 27.7 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other basketball content.
