Recap: Natoma Tigers vs. Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs
The Natoma Tigers suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Monday. They took a serious blow against Sylvan-Lucas, falling 70-11. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Natoma has scored all season.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Caylie Lyle, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lillian Carter, who scored three points along with nine rebounds.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Natoma struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Natoma has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Sylvan-Lucas, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3.
Natoma will take on Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sylvan-Lucas, they will head out on the road to square off against Otis-Bison on Friday.
