Baseball Recap: Make It 21 in a Row for Blanchard

It's playoff time, and Blanchard had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Bethany Bronchos on Friday. Considering the Lions have won 22 contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Blanchard's 21st in a row) raised their record to 28-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.7 runs. As for Bethany, with the loss, they broke their ten-game winning streak and moved their record to 26-5.

Blanchard didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-8 victory against Tuttle on the 17th. Bethany does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
