Madison picks up fifth straight win at home

Recap: Madison Dragons vs. Tekamah-Herman Tigers

The Madison Dragons won the last time they faced the Tekamah-Herman Tigers, and things went their way on Saturday too. Madison snuck past Tekamah-Herman with a 52-48 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Madison.

Jeremiah Sanchez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Griffin Jordan was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with eight rebounds and two steals.

Madison pushed their record up to 9-5 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.4 points per game. As for Tekamah-Herman, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Madison will look to defend their home court on Monday against Neligh-Oakdale at 7:45 p.m. Neligh-Oakdale has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 28. Tekamah-Herman on the road again on Tuesday and play against North Bend Central on February 6th.
