Softball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Central was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They came up short against the Orono Riots, falling 11-1. The Red Devils have struggled against the Riots recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Orono, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Central will face off against rival Foxcroft Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Orono is set to take on their familiar foe Sumner at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
