Basketball Recap: Randle Extends Winning Streak to Six

Randle waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Victoria East Titans by a score of 54-47. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 60-44 back in December of 2024.

Randle's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kurynn McNeill led the charge by going 7 for 12 en route to 18 points and six steals. That's the most steals McNeill has posted since back in February of 2024. Alaysia Cook was another key player, going 7 of 15 on her way to 18 points and five assists.

Victoria East lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kamryn Jackson, who posted 12 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kyra Deadrick, who earned eight points and three steals.

Randle now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Victoria East, their loss dropped their record down to 15-12.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Victoria West the next time they take the court. Randle will host Victoria West at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Victoria East will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
