Recap: Carolina Forest Panthers vs. Conway Tigers

In what's become a running theme this season, the Carolina Forest Panthers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 53-26 win over Conway at home. The win was familiar territory for Carolina Forest who now have three in a row.

Carolina Forest found their leader in underclassman Emerie Davis, who scored 26 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Davis is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Madisyn Davis was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds and five assists.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ahchiya Hill, who scored three points along with seven rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jahmya Dukes, who scored six points.

Carolina Forest pushed their record up to 15-5 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Conway, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.

Carolina Forest will be playing at home against Sumter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Sumter will roll in looking for their 19th straight victory, something Carolina Forest surely won't give up without a fight. Conway will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Socastee at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Socastee comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
