Basketball Recap: Purnell Swett Beats North Brunswick for Their Third Straight Win

Purnell Swett had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 33-29 W against the North Brunswick Scorpions. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 51-33 on Friday.

Purnell Swett got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kamryn Locklear out in front who posted six points and ten boards. Those ten rebounds gave Locklear a new career-high. Johnna Sampson was another key player, putting up five points and five steals.
