Baseball Game Preview: Keyport Raiders vs. Asbury Park Bishops

Keyport is 9-1 against Asbury Park since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Raiders will look to defend their home field against the Bishops at 10:00 a.m. Keyport will be strutting in after a win while Asbury Park will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Keyport turned things around against Long Branch on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 19-5 margin over the Green Wave.

Meanwhile, Asbury Park was not able to break out of their rough patch last Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 10-1 to Long Branch.

Asbury Park's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Keyport, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Everything went Keyport's way against Asbury Park when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Keyport made off with a 14-0 win. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Bishops have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
