It was a good run, but Palisades unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak dating back to last season on Saturday. They took a hard 18-0 fall against Varsity Opponent. Having soared to a lofty 40 points in the game before, the Pumas' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Brooklyn Young threw for 31 yards on two of 13 attempts. Tynilla Simpkins was her top target, picking up 31 receiving yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Palisades fell to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Palisades will square off against Ardrey Kell at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Varsity Opponent, they will challenge Atlantic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
