Baseball Recap: Everglades City Takes a Loss

Everglades City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Mason Classical Academy Paladins, falling 18-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Paladins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-3 back in March.

Everglades City's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Mason Classical Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Everglades City and Mason Classical Academy will both be playing Donahue Catholic the next time they take the field. The Gators will host the Shamrocks at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Paladins will host them at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
