Volleyball Recap: Brimfield's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Brimfield entered their tilt with Henry-Senachwine on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Mallards by a score of 2-0. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Brimfield easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-12.

Leading Brimfield to victory were Josie Wiewel and Jenna Lewis. Wiewel had ten digs and two aces, while Lewis had two aces. Those ten digs gave Wiewel a new career-high.

Brimfield's record now sits at 13-6. As for Henry-Senachwine, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 22-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Brimfield will head out to take on Knoxville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Henry-Senachwine, they will square off against Woodland at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
