Basketball Recap: Eureka Comes Up Short

Eureka lost against Fieldcrest back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eureka Hornets took a 57-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fieldcrest Knights.

Eureka's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Fieldcrest, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Eureka won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Rock Falls at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Fieldcrest and Dwight will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
