Volleyball Recap: New Braunfels Thunder Wins Going Away Against Savio

New Braunfels Thunder lost to Savio back in September of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Homeschool put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Homeschool.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-13, 25-21.

Avalee Lenard paced New Braunfels Thunder's offense, picking up ten kills. Lenard got some help from Emaleigh Force and her 15 assists. Selah Clayton controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

New Braunfels Thunder's win bumped their record up to 22-5-1. As for Savio, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-13-2.

Coming up, New Braunfels Thunder will head out to take on Holy Cross at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Savio, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Michael's at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season.
