Basketball Recap: Monsignor Farrell Comes Up Short at Home Against St. Joseph-By-The-Sea

Monsignor Farrell unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 60-47 to the St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings on Wednesday. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monsignor Farrell will square off against Salesian at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Joseph-by-the-Sea, they will take on St. John's Prep at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
