Volleyball Recap: Howell North Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Howell Central

Howell North faced Howell Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Knights came up short against the Spartans, falling 3-0. The Knights have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Howell North was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-12, 25-16.

Josh Windsor paced Howell North's offense, picking up ten kills. Windsor got some help from Luke Hollinger and his 24 assists.

Howell North's defeat dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Howell Central, the win was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 31-3-2.

As of now, neither Howell North nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
